Where did that misinformation come from (OBama) NO ya dont have to take the coil spring off , you need a spanner wrench to adjust them ..... they are adjustable ... rake (oem ), level(mid perch) and nose hi (stupid look) ..... And yes it would suck if you were correct about taking the coil spring off to adjust the height but definitely not the case
Can't Go wrong with Fox coil overs .... My truck rides great with them

This is the one you want it. Best bet call BDS and order one should be around $35 bucks or so

In all my research on fox/camburg coiler upgrades, I only found the ones that can level 2". I am interested now that I know they can go 2-1/2" front level. Actually considered others because the only went 2". Icon,CamburgF-150 lifts
hmmmmmmm! )

What's everyones ride height front and rear. I'm at 38 3/4 front foa coilovers and 38 in the rear with the 5100s that have about 60k on them. I can adjust the coilovers down it just gonna be a pain with them On.

The foa shock rides perfect with 150 psi nitrogen. i can probably go 185psi to make it a little stiffer. as far as springs deavers might sag 1/2 but you can get them ordered stock, or custom lift. my 1st test with deavers came with 1.25 of lift. after a week of testing got them re-arched to stock height. Now they have specs to make them....front springs did not sag at all. Fox coilovers came pre-set to at least 2.5 inches of lift (front look higher than rear).Set my fox coils to 39.5 ( 6 turns less on driver side , 5 turns less on pass side) and rear is now 39.75. also installed firestone airbags in the rear. ** if you are getting fox, king, icon, or saws i recommend removing your front swaybars. these coilovers are soo good that if you leave the swaybars on your limiting the droop travel. remove them and it will ride 10x better. learn that from a highly recognized valving specialist who valves race trucks. truck rides amazing, and its leveled. going to adjust headlights because of lift. pics soon!!
I was reading your post and you said you removed the front sway bar on your f150 and it greatly improved the way the coilovers handled and rode. I am also running the fox 2.5 coilovers on my f-150. The difference is that I have a 2015 and I have the 6" BDS suspension lift with it. Still running the fox coilovers in the front and 2.0's In the back. Would you still recommend removing the sway bar in the front on mine truck since it sits quite a bit higher? I am also running 35" tires with a 22x12 wheel and -44 offset so it has a pretty wide stance to help in stability.
