Default Too close for comfort

Don't know about you all but that is darn close .... I guess if you keep it on the road you should be fine .. Does this package give you more wheel travel similar to the raptor or are they the same as a regular f 150 ? Love your rig .. really looks nice ... !
Its nice to install kits yourself its , rewarding to tell guys I installed it myself instead of telling them it only cost 1000.00 to have it installed .... I give you huge props on the install and thank you for the great thread

The UCA or LCA length doesn't change so the suspension travel or track width is also the same with this setup unlike the raptor which has longer arms for more travel and wider track

Just out of curiosity, how much loss in fuel economy (if any) have you noticed with the truck levelled out? I plan on levelling, and will likely go with the fox 2.0 after reading this thread, but I do a lot of long distance highway driving and probably won't level my truck if it will really hurt my fuel economy. It really starts to add up when I have put 15000km (9300 miles) on my truck in the last 3 months. Thanks.

I have the 2.5 shocks and they do rattle but it's from the top bearing that you don't have. I got mine last year and with in a month they were making noise, this year I replaced and with in a week they were making the same noise. So now I'm trying a FK bearing instead of the cheap chinese bearings they give you but for yours I don't think you should have an issue.

I had a regular spacer level on for over a year (gave same lift as the Fox set up) and added 275-60-20 Toyo at2 tires (stock width and almost inch taller) and saw minimal mileage change. Maybe 1 MPG if that. So really the tires will change gas mileage the most. The bigger and wider = the more loss of MPG

Finally had the chance to wash the dirt and mud off this afternoon. So snapped a couple pics of how she sits with the Fox 2.0s

Pics are on an incline. I got nearly 2 inches of front end lift and have about 1"-1.5" of rake (I have an 1" block in the back). Just how I like it

After the Fox 2.0 front coilover and rear shocks. I have to say I'm extremely happy with the outcome. Gave me about 2" of lift in the front (haven't put a tape measure to it yet to get an exact measurement), and the truck still has just a slight bit of rake to it, which is exactly how I wanted it. Have only driven about 80 miles since putting them on, but my initial impressions are very positive. I can already tell the ride is a bit more firm and steady. No more swaying or bouncing, these shocks are absorbing little bumps, potholes and expansion joints much better than the OEM hardware. Can't wait to get them offroad to see the difference. Overall I couldn't be happier. Wait... I will be happier next week when my new wheels/tires get installed!
