So nothing hurt since the transfer case isn't affected by it,,, it is was snowing it would still go into 4wd and since it was disconnected the hubs would have been locked so it would still work as you wanted. It would be more like a AWD as the hubs are always locked in. but other than a possible .09 loss of mpg it isn't a biggie!

Not a problem... thats what we are here for,,, in the future just remember to address the year make model as it really does help and you will get better results. Many of us have that info in our signature so we don't have to repeat what we have!
