Just installed these a week or so ago & so far so good. Nice improvement over the OEM fogs & they match my OEM HID lights well.

Installed this afternoon. Wrestled first with the passenger side as I had issues releasing the oem light from the housing tabs; not so easy laying on my back and craning my neck. On the driver's side I couldn't get to the adjustment screw so I removed the whole housing which I found much easier; three bolts to remove the housing and then 5 seconds to pry back the tabs when the assembly was in my lap. Aiming and output testing tonight after dark.

After 3-4 weeks took mine out and went back to OEM with Philips 9145 bulbs. Just seem to cover better for me. Went I removed the LEDs found the spring and adjustment screw were starting to rust. They looked real bright and very good when looking AT them but not so good (to me looking FROM them).
Again, this is just what works for me.

Gonna check my screws too since you saw this. My oem ones put out really good light too, have you tried adjusting the LEDs some more first? you probably did. I had to aim mine up more to get good coverage, but the oem ones did just as good to me, these just have a better looking appearance, but functionality is most important.

Installed SYLVANIA SilverStar "Ultra" head & 9145 fogs Feb2014.
April2017 the driverside fog bulb blew out.

My fog lens started getting heat damage over time but mainly right before the bulb blew.
The passenger side fog lens had the most damage, a round spot about the size of a quarter.
The driver side fog lens is still in fare shape.
I reinstalled the stock bulbs for now & they sure do suck donkey.

Update: well after reading through the 40pages Ive decided to just replace my stock housings & use the SYLVANIA SilverStar 9145 fogs & replace it all again in 3yrs.

Wished there was a glass housing replacement option

I had seen these lights in the past and finally purchased a set. I installed mine a few weeks ago and am happy with the results. They were easy to replace and I used the original screw and spring. I did notice that I had to remove one light housing from its mount and turn it over 180 degrees so "UP" was actually "UP". If not, you will notice a distinct pattern difference in the lights when testing them against a wall. The upside down light will not have a cutoff on the top section of the light beam, but instead will be arched.

Cool little mod for a minimal expense.
