Yup. I figured two things. 1) At this price I doubt the lenses have much UV protection of any kind. 2) My OE fogs have a number of knicks and chips from road stones and again, at this price I would not expect these to be a tough as the OE lenses.

Even if I have to reapply film occasionally, I would hope it will increase their service life.

If they don't have a specific top and bottom they should work.

They have a side labeled TOP.

I did actually. I probably would never have seen the few spots where it didn't lay completely flat, but I probably would've looked at them constantly.
Yup, I'm that ridiculous about things like that.
They are far superior to the yellow halogen's I was running. So I'll take a better a performing light over the matching looks.

I understand in this life that some sacrifices have to be made.....

I'm speculating, and I'm at the office without the lights, but does the light housing itself come apart from the bracket where the adjustment screw is held? If YES, then you can flip the bracket on the light housing for the older trucks.

We installed them on my neighbor's 2010 after we did mine and had no issues.

I received mine about a week ago and finally got around to putting them in today. Although I like the look of them. They are about half as bright as my led bulbs in the oem housings. They also don't match my hid color. With that being said. I am planning on selling them very shortly. Just have to take them off my truck.
