Theres a long post, requested it to be a sticky, that deals with a hack involving a resistor that many have had very good results with. There is apparently some trucks that work fine, while others do not. Must be a part somewhere that changed from a different source for Ford.

Here it is: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/compre...ng-fix-271852/

I've seen daytime running lights being a thing, not much else. Maybe AC manipulation?

Anything else cool that can be done with my truck?

I'd like to get this up and running on my galaxy tablet and play with it.
To answer your question: no ac manipulation. DRL enabling is possible, and tire size changes (stock sizes only). Gear ratio changes. It's so cheap to get into forscan that you should just buy the dongle to check it out. It'll help when stuff starts to go wrong. Lots of engine data available.

Changing tire size in Forscan is useless. It don't work, I tried as have others. The only way to get an accurate speedo was using a programmer, in my case an Sctx4.

In the next week or so, going to try to set this up with obd2 adapters I already have.

I too would like to:

- remove the throttle position limit of 75%
- remove the ~95 ish mph speed limit
- turn on seat back vibrators

(jk on seat back vibrators)

Remote start yes, limiter no, you need a programmer like sctx4 to do that.

I programmed my APIM to U.S. and now everything appears. I can use Mobile apps now and VHR and Sync Services appears. The only thing I haven't tried is a master reset after I made the APIM changes so I am going to do that next.
I've look around a bit, but what lines did you change to get to switch the country in thte APIM?

If it will do remote start, will it also turn on Trailer brake controller?
