So I updated my APIM to try and enable nav while in motion but it doesn't seem to work on my 2013 F150 Platinum. The 911 sign has a red x over it but when in motion I try to go to dest and enter a address it's not a available option. Anyone run into this same issue?

Did you put the right code in? If so, it has been an issue with others depending on the software version of MFT and year it was produced.
Nav Override While Moving
APIM
7D0-02-01 x*xx xxxx xxxx . 7 = Nav overide while moving (no more sirius travel link) 911 seems to still operate but haven't actually tested it

Yeah, default was 5553 so I changed it to 5753 but I'll double check it tomorrow.

Whats the deal with the older trucks, is it possible to turn off TPMS on an 09? Found a thread showing its been done on 11+, but haven't found anything for the 09.

They don't have all of the modules the newer trucks have. They have a GEM module which hasn't been explored by anyone that I know of. Basically they rely on less computer control and more circuitry control so there are less options to program. I am sure there is something in the GEM to control it but I have no clue what.

The deal is 09-10 have a GEM with very limited change possibilities where as the 11-14 and newer have a BCM that is much more configurable. Don't know if tpms can be turned off or not in the GEM.

Has anyone here taken on the task of adding OE heated mirrors? It is something Im looking into on the 2014 XL, but it's a bit hard to justify on a company truck (Im buying all used parts). Im pretty sure I know what I need, but Im also not sure what surprises I might come across when I take the door panels off and look at the connectors.

I want it to look as clean and stock as possible which is why Im going the ForScan route with an updated FCIM and avoiding cheap quick tap add-a-circuit in the BCM.

My current estimated cost is about $150 USD / $200 CAD. Used heated XLT mirrors are cheap on Kijiji / CraigsList; eBay is littered with FCIM parts.

Programming should be easy, it is just a matter of figuring out what a 2014 101a XL has for wiring between the door and the BCM.

I'm about 99% sure this is kind of a silly question, but I'll throw it out there. I read this entire thread last week and thanks to many informative how-to posts, I dove into forscan over the weekend. After turning on the wife's remote start I installed last week, I moved on to my truck and enabled the bambi mod. Everything went fine with the mods. Then last night, my son tried to roll the passenger side window and it was a no go. So I tried it from my side and still nothing. The other 3 windows all work fine. Just wanting to make sure there's no way something in one of the modules has the ability to just "turn off" one window and not affect any of the others. I'm certain it's just weird timing that the motor went out on the window right after I was messing with the forscan but I figured I'd ask before I tore the door panel off. Thanks.

Turn on the over head light and watch it while pressing the window button. If it dims you have a bad motor. No dim then it's something with either the wiring or the bcm.
