Well I've been doing a lot of tweaking with Forscan thanks to all you gurus out there. Been very happy with the results. Thanks very much for your work...

Now my question...Someone asked abt being able to use nav while in motion but I can't see where there was a reply.

Does any one know if there's a way to turn that off? My Pioneer had a hidden switch on the screen but I doubt if Ford has one...

Where did you get the licensing from. I added Nav to a friends truck right before Ford **** down the site we were getting the licensing from. Have other friends that want me to add it.

Changing 7D0-02-01 from X5XX XXXX XXXX to X7XX XXXX XXXX allows you to control NAV while driving.

In the spreadsheet in my signature there is a tab for adding nav to sync. Has a bunch of instructions and links to get everything up and running. I have navigation so I didn't need it but a bunch of people have used it for 15+. Should work for the earlier models too.

jdunk54nl,
Your spreadsheet had this, I tried it and it didn't work. Turn off the seat belt chime.
I did it per instructions I found on the internet, using the seat belt it's self. I then went through the asbuilts and this is what I found. The difference is in this line:

726-60-01 7238 4172 Before disabling seat belt chime
726-60-01 7238 4300 After disabling seat belt chime

I didn't get to the hill descent switch today, I have the full center console and it was going to take more time than I had to pull the stuff off to get the radio bezel off.

I did change the nav override while moving and it worked for me.
I also removed sirius from my radio choices by changing my A to 8.

Default Lane change signal

Recently purchased a 2013 FX4 and found something to add to my change list. When using the lane change signal, it blinks only three times. Perhaps I don't drive aggressive enough, but I would prefer it blink until I actually change lanes. Three blinks and I usually am just barely starting to cross the dividing line. Is there a forscan setting that controls the number or time limit for the signal?

Thanks in advance,
Brian

Not that has been found yet.
I am guessing that feature would be somewhere in the
726-09 to 726-14 range as those are the light features. If you want to play around that is probably going to be your best bet to start there.
