Best thing I can suggest is have him buy an ELM unit and compare lines. Someone in the 2015+ section might have it somewhere already, as far as I've read no one from this section has done it but I could be wrong.

You also might need the display screen.

I have asked this 2 times as I recall, no one has found a way, in this post or the 15 and greater. My sons 14 Explorer has this and I inquired to Ford sometime ago, they said contact a dealer. I never did.

His is a Limited, I will ask him if there is any options for the direction lines in his system.

I have his as built data, but have no clue what to look for.

Wonder if it's something that changed with the new style. My 16 is a sport and our 16 platinum also has the fixed lines.

So I just spoke to my son, he said he believes there is an option to either have them show direction of travel or remain straight. I will see him saturday, maybe, and will look at this option and maybe we can figure it out.

Unless someone beats me to it.

My son just texted me,he said he read online that these lines are only available on vehicles with active park assist, which his car has. He also said this info was reported as coming from an owners manual.

My wife's 14 Escape has the lines that curve with steering, the 2016 Transit 250 (our road service truck), the lines are static.

Is it possible to reset the battery management system with forscan? I'm trying to make changes with forscan but can't because I keep getting a low battery message. Just put in a new battery and let it sit overnight with the doors closed but the voltage didn't change in forscan. New battery is at 12.55 volts so I know it's not bad. Do the doors need to be locked for the system to reset?
