but isn't that just the same as a regular tuner returning to stock or does forscan actually erase the fact that changes have been made

My OBDII adapter will be here tomorrow. I can't wait to get in there and see what all can be done. Now I just need to find a laptop to use

Hey guys.

So I intalled Beau's OEM kicker subwoofer and coaxial's last year and never needed to do any forscan thing to get them to work, and they sounded great.

I replaced my battery last week and reset the Battery Module and then let the truck sit for 8 hours over night and now my subwoofer doesn't sound the same. The music kind of doesn't sound as strong and clear as it used to. Any ideas?

I think that's correct. I have backup sensors but not camera and mine is 6xxx

I've never even tried video when parked, so not sure. But every other "in motion" block is turned off with the nav mod, so I would assume this one is, also.

The Forscan was pretty easy to figure out and it connected right away. It is nerve racking as hell and I was worried about screwing it up or bricking my truck. First thing I did was a backup of my config. I can see how a person could get in a lot of trouble and really screw things up if they weren't careful.

Thanks for all the info and help.
Which seatbelt chime did you disable? And how?

Makes it like there is a brand new pcm in the truck, kind of like formatting the hard drive on a computer. Use the tuner to return to stock then upload the pcm as built data to wipe any traces anything's been tampered with.

When ever the battery is disconnected the eq settings return to default mid travel on all frequencies, reset the eq.

It's always balanced and leveled on my screen, I just play with the bass depending on music. But Now I'm having to crank the bass up past level to get similar sound, and it's distorting my door speakers. Should I reset anything on forscan?
