Yea, i picked up the OBD2 plug and the Torque Pro app.. and it's able to read boost from the ecu.. that's why i thought maybe this Forscan app would be able to read it as well but put it into the gauges section of the cluster screen.

It can read it I'm sure, adding it to the cluster is an entirely different thing.

If you figure it out, let the rest of us know.

The thing to do would be to read through the +15 Forscan thread and get the numbers to add the boost gauge, try them and if it works you will be known as a genius.

Default Swapping radios

Has anyone looked into it there is an option for the stereo/entertainment/sync system? I want to swap my non satellite radio unit with one that has satellite radio. If I recall once I have it swapped in it would need to be activated in the computer.

The APIM controls Sync. Make the swap and then input the APIM numbers from a truck with the options you want and cross your fingers.

Hmm. I wonder if I can get the thermostat controls to work with my new setup. I think I would have to reprogram my OEM head unit.

Is there anything in the APIM that will allow us to enable the ability to enter nav data while driving?

Try this.
APIM Module: 7D0-02-01 5753 xxxx xxxx

The '15+ guys say this allows navigation and text messages at any speed for Sync 2. I don't have Nav but I want to be able to reply to texts through Sync while moving. It is really stupid that Sync has preset replies for incoming texts but you can't use them while moving. If I have to stop to answer a text, I will actually answer it with my phone. Not one of Sync's set replies.

Just to clarify: You don't enter the "x". You only change the numbers that are listed.

Well, I tried this on my Non non nav non MFT and it took away mobile apps so this does not work for the basic Sync systems.
