I'm having trouble deciding if I like it or not.
Can't see it from the drivers seat, but, I just can't make up my mind.
Shaky 2nd pic doesn't help either.

I'm not big on the bug deflectors on these trucks. Takes away from the overall look in my opinion.

I agree. I've always had them, and if bugs start to chip my hood I'll be pissed, but I just can't get into any of the new ones. I do like looks of the the teeny tiny stickon chrome ones....that just stick to the paint, don't cover the upper grill edge, and are otherwise non functional. But I think they'd trap moisture against the hoods edge. So I'm going bare.

I would have to also agree. I had mine on for about a year and removed it. They don't look good to my eyes.

I've never been a fan of the smoke colored ones except maybe on a black truck. For my sterling gray truck I picked up a clear bug deflector and painted it to color match my truck.

I would like to try one on my truck and see if I like it. I've always had a bug deflector on my trucks.

I agree on the smoked comment, but for the style I went with I could not find a black painted one. But I do like the one I installed, makes the front end look bigger due to going around the grill.

While I can appreciate the functionality of a bug deflector, I'd pass on it, especially with a PTM grill surround. The deflector takes away from the overall appearance for my taste. Your front end has a nice clean appearance without the deflector.

I've got the AVS on my 13, which is the same basic size and shape as the Ford one. My truck is Kodiak Brown (I call it "notblack") so it blends in pretty well. Also, I don't like the large section of chrome at the top edge of the XLT grille, and the deflector covers it perfectly.
