Installed my Stampede deflector the other night and I really like it. I already have the 3M paint film on the front but I like how the deflector tones down the top of the chrome grill.

I'm sure it looks great! Post some pics when you're able to!
I just got a PTM surround grille from a King Ranch model that was my exact same Ruby Red color, so I took it all apart & installed my chrome lariat inner to that PTM surround. I like the look a lot & totally eliminates that chrome surround that I never liked. I put the PTM hood shield back on & can hardly even tell it's there at all!
The main thing is the hood shield still protects the front of the hood & leading edges of the fenders from stone chips.
Glad you're happy with the hood shield & great idea of using the clear 3M to help protect too!

My opinion is Ford missed on the OEM bug deflector.

Ford one covers the leading edge of the hood which is great but it stops short of the leading edge of the front fenders. Stone chips on the fender will start to rust and look like $#!t.

Got the AVS deflector on mine and it wraps around the front of the fenders and will protect the fender from chips.

I would not recommend the OEM Ford one for this reason and go with an aftermarket.

Wow, that really looks good!

I tried to take a couple pics in the garage but it's hard to see.
