Default Ford Warranty

Wondering how many out there started receiving phone calls from someone (Ford??) letting you know the warranty is about to expire? I'm nearing 57k but purchased an extended warranty out to 125k. Should I just tell (Jason) to stop calling? cheers!

I doubt it's ford. It's probably a 3rd party company that's hounding you

Beware as some are just scams to get your credit card number!

Calls, emails, letters, the works. Factory extended warranties around overall a giant waste of money (and they typically only have a 25% overhead in comparison to what is claimed/honored). If you truely plan to keep your vehicle 100K+ miles, go with a reputable third party like a credit union. You typically have less feedback when making a claim.

Wink

I was getting them too. On both my land line and cell. I just started having fun with them until they hang up on me. Hello? Hello? Is anybody there? Hello? Is that you again Bootsy? I told you I was so over you?..........I have about 51,000 miles on my '11 Lariat. For me, the extended warranty has already worked in my favor. Have used it already. When I bought my truck I knew it would be the only one I'll ever get, and new that I would still be on SSD after my windfall. I knew once my truck was out of B-to-B standard warranty, if anything went south I may not be able to get it fixed. Depends on what it's worth to you...........

Same here. I get letters all the time on several of my vehicles. All from third party warranty companies that will charge you an arm, and a leg. My advise, ignore them.
