Plasti dip grille and handles?

Plasti dip grille and handles?
I'm very new to F150 and to even attempting to do anything with my truck. I want to put some black in my chrome grille, and I want to color match my door handles to all white, but I'm pretty timid in doing it. So, for you experienced guys, is it difficult to plasti dip something? Are there any negative effects or easy mistakes to make with it? Any advice or ideas would be great!
Thanks in advance!

It's pretty easy, I took my grill off before doing but some guys just tape off and cover radiator. Just make sure to clean real good first then wipe down with rubbing alcohol or something. Also the first coat or two go real light, let dry in between coats and do at least 5 coats. The handles will take some time to prep with tape

Super easy.
Mask off for overapray. Spray multiple thin coats. Once finished peel off your tape and your done.

Thanks for the reply! Are there any negatives to doing it? How's the durability, and if I decide I don't like it will it peel the original paint off? What about prep? Do I need to sand it or anything?

No sanding ANYWHERE. The beauty of this stuff is that AFTER YOU SPRAY ENOUGH COATS ON (I capitalized that because people complain about not being able to peel it off very easily) it will peel right off. I sprayed about 7 or 8 coats on mine and it's not coming off unless I really want it to. Just tape off everything surrounding the part you're spraying and you'll be fine. A little bit of overspray is fine and comes off easily, but a lot of overspray can be a pain in the butt.
