I'm the OP of this. I decided against the new liner (new for 2013's) from Ford when I ordered my truck, and I'm getting the Line-X premium done on Friday. I like how Line-X does not spray the tiedowns and bed bolts and works with the details of the bed extender so it will work properly. I also like the lifetime warranty. It's more expensive, but I know what I am getting with Line-X.

I would much rather have the line x done after purchase of the truck, minimal money difference when you will have the vehicle for a long time in my eyes. However, with incentives and all coupons etc I am $10,400 off sticker of a $50k fx4 truck at a local dealer and it has the oem at the factory sprayed bed liner. Still have to check with wife to see if she is on board with me getting a truck but wanted to make sure that the bedliner ford sprays isn't junk or I will walk away from it and order a vehicle. I appreciate you guys letting me know how the factory liners are working out for you.

Tell them you dont want the bed liner and to drop another 4 bills if they want to keep the sale.. I got nearly 13k off the sticker of a 47k loaded Lariat... it can happen. I too did not want the liner but the 13k off the stick can hide a multitude of "I dont wants"...

Keep working them Red...

On a side note...My truck is a parkway princess now... I make pretty great money so I pay folks to haul dirt and gravel for me (I suspect it will get worse the older I get...50 now). I have a topper on it for travelling so I suspect this truck will never see a shovel nor rake so I think this liner is safe enough.

Took the wife to look at the truck yesterday, she is on board and left it up to me. Not one of those bite you in the az later go ahead buy it but a serious if I want it to go ahead. I have to make up my mind quickly and I will definitely ask for $400 reduction for the bed liner if they want to sell whats on their lot. I really want black but no way I would be able to keep it clean and it would drive me nuts. Gray is a good color, appears to have a pretty good reflection when clean from pics I have seen on here.
