Maybe because the A/C is keeping the cab colder so they work better.

The cooled seats pull in cab ambient air across the TED. Since the ambient air in your cab is cooler, this provides a cooler initial temperature for the TED to further cool.

colder air in the cab! Don't feel bad, I thought as you initially did!

PS: thanks for your service!

I have read several times the seats cool using a TED. However I turned just the seats on the other day and they did not get cool.
I turned on the AC and they got cool.
I always thought it took a long for the seats to cool off when I first get in. But once the AC gets cold they freeze my a@$ off.

Is my TED bad? They heat fine?

I just looked under the hood of a 2013 Mustang with the 5.0. It holds 1.30lbs of 134. That's more than our trucks do right?

No and be careful with the numbers: 24 ounces total or 1 1/2 or 1.5 pounds (16+8=24) or 1 pound 8 ounces.

My wifes Edge takes 19 ounces, go figure and it freezes you out!

Here are my numbers. On max recirculate i get 42-50. It bounces back and forth, no matter what speed i'm traveling or stopped at a light.

I did the test exactly as the chart suggested that digital posted. Windows down, fresh air, hi blower, and idle. It was blowing a cool 67 degrees in ambient 88.
