I do understand that the OLD kit does this as confirmed by the pics someone else posted so we are not disagreeing with this but we do not offer it as once inventory is depleted it's done and will no longer be available.
Ford's Accessory Headquarters have restructured these components for ease of Dealer distribution and sales. I can elaborate if you are interested but do not want to bore you either.

That's the point of all of this though. How can someone make it work right now. As long as the kit is available that's what people should use period. Ordering extra stuff and spending more isn't a solution no matter how many times you reiterate it. If you can't get the kit I'm sorry about that as others obviously can so that's who people should order from.

Yea I get that. If that's the case bad on Ford. How does it make any sense to charge more for parts that you don't actually need?

This attached chart explains how Ford is going forward with these part numbers up to 2015. They have eliminated many parts numbers making stocking easier (for them) as well as up-selling is easier accomplished for salesman at the time of a new vehicle sale.
If I can help with anything please let me know and I am very sorry if any of you have lost trust in me or our online store but we are passing on information only.
Thank you

Well picked up my truck from the Dealer yesterday afternoon and the Remote Access kit is in and working fine here in Canada. I attached a pic of the service bill which shows the part#'s (DL3Z19A390C and DL3Z19A361A) they needed to have it work properly on my 2011 FX4 with factory 100 series remote start. After a little searching I found where it was installed......the drivers side under the dash near defroster duct for drivers door.(not passenger side like instructions say). Hope this helps anyone who is still confused lol

AHAAARRHHGHH. Now they moved the install location to the drivers side piggybacking on the ODB plug not the TPMS plug?

As a guy who has a 200 series installed (on the pass side), I want to add the RMU only. Now i am skeptical if that will even work. doh!

International man of Myst
In fords defense, this is probably driven by numerous things happening at once. For one, the VSS is a new module, it uses A T harness to tap into the ODB port rather than splicing wires. This has got to drive problems, costs, and part numbers way down.

I feel like i am back to square one when i thought i had it nailed down that i just needed the RMU and could hook it up to the 200 series RMST.

Since i already have a 200 series with the built in VSS, (it has an external shock sensor/LED) hooked up to the TPMS connection, do i now need a VSS plugged into the ODB to get the RMU to work? Can i buy the RMU Only and have it plug into my existing 200 series RMST?
