Sorry man, honestly no disrespect intended. I guess the excitement of a few days off from work for thanksgiving has got me in rare form.
I was just having a little fun and not directing it to anyone.
Heck I'm sure I've asked the same redundant questions myself so my comments are just as much towards myself then anyone else.
Please accept my apologies.
If you have the 200 series already then all you need is y-harness and RMU like what was pictured in the users pics.
Let me know if I can be of more help.
I'll be happy to call Zachary for you if you get me your VIN and find out exactly what you need.

Not sure about can not connect issue. Being it's all cell phone based either truck or phone perhaps doesn't have a good signal. I would call the tech support at mykey. Not sure how to override the default sleep mode. You can wake up remotely but it takes like 12 hours or something to process.
If I'm at the airport for a week I'll just wake up the day before I arrive. Maybe unlock and lock every few days if it's sitting to keep it active but it will run down you battery if it sits too long.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

What is the tech support at my key ? Are you talking about the my key in the DIC in my truck?

This is what I am waiting for.... you have the 100 series and if I am not mistaking I have read several times that it will NOT work with the 100 series. Then the 13's come with a remote start but I wasn't sure if it is a 200 or 100 series. So I am wondering just what you are getting? could it be that you are getting the 200 series along with the cellular module, antenna and y connector or is it just the cellular module antenna and y connector. I hope you return and post an update!

mamonti, the factory remote start that comes with the '13's is the 100 series. If Zac said all he needs is that one kit, i would assume that comes with the 200 series RMST unit. But lets wait till he replies back. Take some pics of what's comes in that box!

You add that to your truck which already has the 100 series unit so its piggy backed.
The RMU will NOT work directly with the 100 series unit on 2013. That is why you cannot buy just the RMU unit. When you buy the kit from Zachary you get the 200 series RMST unit along with RMU and Y-harness. Everything you need.
If you have the 100 series already, meaning you have factory remote start, you already have an antenna under the glovebox.
Go out to your truck and open the glove box and lower it down.
Look behind it on top and you will see the antenna already there. Its plugged into the TPM.
I'm going to try and post pics later today in order to help everyone visually.

These forums are great and at the same time confusing as stated. You read this and that, then a retraction, then a never mind and what are you left with?? WHAT? The problem is that the dealer doesn't know either, most of the time I show them how to do things. I got the 100 series back in 2012 and they wanted to know what it was? The funny thing is we have customer support here too and though they have been helpful setting up appointment and getting issues attended to the technical support does nothing. I have asked for some answers on the sync and nothing and here we have gone on and on, some have called dealers and they never heard about it, others tell them oh yeah it is like a grand to get the parts and have it installed... but not once have we had them come in and post what the heck is really up with this thing! It isn't that I doubt the guys on here posting but lets be honest they don't know everything about it but they are trying to help.
I just wanted to simply post what I did and what I bought and what worked for me. A 2013 F150 with factory remote start can use the "kit" and it will work. I can speak only to my situation but for some they may help.
Any variation of year of truck or if you have the 200 series already I cannot accurately address.
But keep in mind that while most dealers don't know squat about the remote access Zachary does seem to have some insight and can be more helpful then us thats for sure.
Trust me Mamonti, I'm a jack of all trades and master of none.

That's exactly correct. With the "kit" you also get another RMST module which is the 200 series. That is what has the shock sensor in as well.
You add that to your truck which already has the 100 series unit so its piggy backed.

I would start here as they may have more knowledge and can decipher the error code and give you a solution.
54. Please contact Ford Hotline with any issues regarding remote access functionality.
Please contact 1-800-FORD-KEY with any issues regarding hardware or kit contents.
