Mine works intermittently and it's becoming extremely frustrating.

I can't just press the start button and expect it to start I always have to wait and it's doesn't work more often than it does.

I've read on the Apple App Store reviews that many people started to experience these problems after the ios8 update....

Good to know, I have been holding out on updating. Although mine does seem to take a long time lately to reach the truck from my phone. Longer than usual. But I would say I only have probably 1 out of a 100 that does not reach the truck.

Again, that's what I read not sure how true it is.

I seem to have more of an issue with the app when I'm home as opposed to other places.

I'm sure it's been mentioned before but does anyone know what cellular network they use?

I'm located in NYC.

They use whatever cellular network you chose when you signed up. And I am the same, the worst at home. But that kinda makes sense, I believe that it goes through the wifi when you are connected to a network which would add to the amount of time the signal takes. And if it takes too long then it times out.

So anyone think the remote access is worth it?

I basically want the factory remote start settings (defrosters and heated seats in the cold, and AC Seats with max AC in the heat----all automatic by temp), with a plug and play system with great range. Viper does not offer this at all.

Also good to hear, and good to know the bidirectional fob part number! Havent seen that one posted anywhere yet, thanks.
