Default Ford rebates

I went to check the F150 on Memorial day weekend and Ford was offering $10,000 off most models (I wasn't ready to buy though...). I've been told by a rep that they will have some rebates for the 4th of July.

My question is this: anybody knows when they are doing the best deals? Memorial Day? 4th of July? Labor day?

Thanks!

I am sure 10k off is with rebates and a markdown. I got $5000 off in rebates along with $4000 off with the X-Plan. I am sure the 5.5 bed XLT' s are being reduced a lot since the 2011' s will be out soon. They may have dealt me a little more off had I wanted one of the trucks that was in their lot but it wasn' t what I wanted. Good luck shopping!

Yes, it was for a truck in the parking lot. It had everything I want but the color wasn't my favorite.

When will the F150 2011 be out?

I'm wondering if they will give good rebates once the 2011 are out. Or maybe they have already started doing that to move them all out the lots.

I'm also debating waiting for the 2011 because of the new engines. It's so confusing

That is a heck of a deal....I think I could have got more off but that was for a 5.5 bed which I said nay. The closest 6.5 bed from my dealer was 500 miles away so they weren' t willing to deal on it like they would for one in their lot. Props to you!

No matter what you buy Frank the next model will always have something that you like just a little better than the one you bought. Some people that bought the '09 wished they had waited for the '10 which has the better brakes. It' s a vicious cycle the motor company' s play all the time. They leave things off on purpose so they can add them for the next year. I am very satisfied with my purchase and can' t seem to think of anything I absolutely need on the '11 model.

You have a point there. Thanks for your advice!
