What's stupid is the dipstick location, without an extension on that. At 6' 4", I can barely reach the damn thing. Once I level the truck, and add 35s, I will need a freaking step ladder.

Why not extend the handle?

I don't think it would be a good idea to contaminate it with engine oil.
The miniscule amount of residual oil in that funnel would do more damage to the storage compartment than if you rinsed it out with a gallon of gas poured into the tank. You could probably dump a cup of oil into the tank along with 26 gallons of gas and not do any damage. One cup of oil in 26 gallons of gas is a 416:1 ratio; assuming 16.004715 cups in a gallon.

Exactly. At the end of duck season last year I had 3gal of 50:1 mix gas (8oz of oil) that I dumped in my truck along with about 10 gallons that was already in the tank and drove it till empty. I could tell no difference and I'm about as **** about the way the truck runs as anybody...Heck I've seen race gas recipes that call for a quart of oil to be added to a 4-5 gallon batch.

I have to use a stepladder to do anything beyond a glance on my truck. I also remove my belt and wear a long button up flannel shirt so that I don't scratch the paint on the fender. I really need to buy one of those fender protector mat thingys.

I had rather have it just like it is and use a funnel.
