Have 2009 nice looking truck, but has a vibration at highway speeds that apparently is normal for these late model trucks. 1 to 2nd shift is horrible had it at dealer had a tsb on that but didn't help. Now have a leak that I expect is break light. door Handel broke had to roll window down to use outside Handel to get out. Built ford tough !! I think not.

I went to get an alignment before a trip the other day. Either someone drove my truck and hit something crazy before I got it, or they didnt check the alignment on my truck before it left the factory. The numbers were crazy off

My dodge didnt have many off-the-lot imperfections, BUT it had so many trips to the dealer that they knew my name. All different stuff so no lemon law though

I Couldn't be more happy with the truck after 38,000 miles. She has the occasional 1-2 and 2-1 tranny bump but you get used to it, and other than that the transmission is great. It amazes me what the truck can stand up to, It got hit by an 18 wheeler last summer, drove her around for a month waitin for parts ( About 8 or 9 thousand worth of repairs.) Its still as tight as the day it left the dealer and drives like a dream.

Honestly, with the tranny issues I already have at 1450km which Ford will not touch until 7000km, and a timing chain tensioner that is bo and unavailable in North America, and 40,000 dollars just paid 8 weeks ago! Holy sh*t I would have to be crazy to praise Ford right now.

I would say 5 out of 10. What is Ford doing other than building them, you must keep them running right as well!

My 2009 F150, I would have said 8 of 10, but it still had a leaking satellite antenna, door handle recall, and a funny shift point sometimes to boot.

So far I have:

Truck would not go into 6th gear.... Re-flash solved it...

The passenger seat motor squeals when moving forward... Going to dealer tomorrow...

I'd give them a 7 out of 10 so far....could go lower with time....

Dealer screwed up my paperwork and I have to go in tomorrow and re-sign the documents to get my tag.....( if they pull any crap the truck will be theirs again)

The only thing wrong with my truck is, it's not an Ecoboost.

I've been happy for the last three months. But today the moonroof seems to have started a leak on the passenger's side. So, not so happy now.

I am very dissatisfied with Ford quality control. Multiple paint issues on my truck, bad seat motor, and bumper severely misaligned from the factory. Ford would not stand by the errors in the paint. They just wanted to have the dealership rip apart my brand new truck with 200 miles on it and repaint 40-50% of it. It should have been bought back but they refused to do it and wouldn't even send a rep out to look at it when I asked. The dealership said they had never seen paint issues like this before and the general sales manager even stated that their quality control was poor. They need to stand by their products and get them right. I know if I would have bought a BMW, Lexus or any other luxury brand product which is priced the same as the truck I bought it would not be like this!

I've been very happy with the quality. After having several brand new Nissans, Chevys, and Dodges, Ford BY FAR, has the best build quality, best quality of workmanship, and is the most reliable. After owning my 2008 4.6L 3V Sport Trac and now the F150, I'm very VERY impressed with Ford's quality.

My trucks panels all line up as well as a BMW, fit and finish is second to none.

Now I'm not going to point fingers but the most important rule is to never buy a first year model. Ford's first year model was 2009 so I would expect several problems, then while the chassis wasn't changed, 2011 was a first year model for most of the drivetrain and electronics.

In my opinion, 2012 should be just as good as 2010 and so should 2013.
