Default Ford Paint Warranty

It seems that I have the famous orange peel look all over my 2011 Tuxedo Black FX4. Will the dealerships warranty this or would I be wasting my time asking them? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

No they don't consider orange peel a paint defect.

Best bet...take it to a really professional detail shop. Have them cut and buff it. I have a feeling that the dealer will be like, "that's normal...sorry."

I cut and buffed the nose of mine,(have to find time to do the rest) back when my shop was mad slow. I paint and buff for a living though, and I didn't have too much orange peel to begin with, but it came out like glass. You also have black...have a pro do it. Just my 2 cents.

Here's mine after cut and buff
