Default Ford OEM Perimeter Alarm Remote Start

Purchased this kit off of EBAY from Rogel Ford in Crystal Springs Missouri. Great price... so I sprung for it. Was not disappointed with the product. Needed some help with the installation, so I contacted the dealership and corresponded with Beau Rogel....himself!
He sent me the PDF I needed to begin installing. Let me say... it was extremely simple to add to my XLT.
Now the snag....several Ford dealers could not figure out how to activate the system?! I contact
Beau again....he was courteous, professional, and NEVER once did he get irritated with my questions and or accusations that he did not send me the correct modules, as a few Arizona Ford Techs had told me. He was GREAT. He gave me his cell phone # and said if those techs can't figure it out....well he would walk them through it. That's exactly what happened!- lmao
Needless to say I would highly recommend Rogel Ford on EBAY for any aftermarket purchase.....they have it right!-Customer Service is #1
The perimeter alarm works perfect, and the remote start is ****!

I just ordered one for my truck. I already have remote start so I got the one without it. The add says he can install it in less than 4 mins. I plan on installing myself. Do you have any tips on install? Thanks for the info.

I really like the perimeter alarm feature. It's super easy to install. The alarm module is installed on the drivers side, plug and play. If you don't get an instruction manual with the kit, Google it and you'll find a PDF for it.

I saw a member post about autostart the other day saying he had got it for around 200? that's with the dealer reflash. Does that sound about right?

Well,... I can tell you
that I purchased mine as a remote start/perimeter alarm with (2) one way directional key fabs off EBay for like $250 total. Than $40 to flash it at the dealer. So...I think your alright.

I installed the same kit and had the same issue at the first dealer. Their IDS couldn't activate it and they told me it was the wrong remote start kit. Of course, they were willing to sell me the older style kit. I didn't bother trying to explain to them that the one in my truck was a newer system and that Ford no longer made the older kit available, which I knew from my own research, but obviously they didn't know.

Took it to another one and they had no issue activating it.

How does the antenna and wires look inside the cab of your truck?
Do you have any pictures?
Thanks Mike

It looks factory. The wire is run up next to the rear view mirror, wrapped around and tucked up in the headliner, than vanishes in the drivers corner of the dash.
