Default Ford labor day sales

So, I've finally found a truck that I like! 2013 XLT screw 5.5 bed 5.0 4x4 with every option available. My question is, how are the Labor Day sales compared to now? I know most manufactures make a big deal about Labor Day but is there really that much of a price difference compared to what dealers have now? The price is $31,785 ($12k off of msrp). I know that this is a really good price for the truck but if I can get more off, I may hold off til Labor Day.

Here is the truck: still debating to get the ruby red, silver, or white

dont you think that if you keep waiting, the prices are going to fall anyway so they can make room for the '14s. Id hold out as long as you can

get silver. the paint chips will show less. I have a race red and although I really like the color, I wish I would have gotten a silver one.

Your dealer should be able to tell you when the next promotions will be coming out. Once the 14s hit the lot they might be more willing to deal.

They may be more willing to deal, however the selection may be slim by Labor Day. In my little mind it's going to be hard to get more than 12K off sticker. At 12K the dealers profit is minimal now. But, it's a good idea to ask. Oh, and I'm biased to the Ruby Red. Good luck.

I didn't even get $12k off on X-plan and I thought I got a good deal. If I were the OP I'd jump on that truck. But in black.

This is a really high volume dealer. They get a kick back from ford at the end of the month if they sell so many trucks. This is why they can afford to sell at such a low price. This dealer has had all the XLT 5.0 trucks for $12k off sticker for the past few months

12k off the truck that you want is great I did get a bit more off my XLT with d plan but I am an employee. You can wait for bigger discounts later but you may have to settle for what you are looking for. Two thumbs up on the Ruby Red. XLT's witht he 5.0 have the best programs right now of any F-150
