I love the Torque my Ecoboost gives me for towing and getting around idiot drivers going slow in the fast lane or on two lane highways. Tows my boat and trailer which weigh about 5000 lbs and you can hardly tell you're towing anything. So far 23,000 miles on it and still going strong! Go back and drive an Ecoboost and see what you're missing!

One of the main reasons why I love mine. Idiots in the left lane drive me and my ecoboost absolutely insane.

Well, the original poster didn't open those gates, buy, hey - man those gates are mighty slippery now, aren't they?

Okay, bravo, I'd go back to dealer too, maybe let sales manager know the sales guy didn't guide you too good. But, I would keep that 3.7! I think it is a great engine, and should serve you well. Let us know how it goes.

For those of you, who will be looking to buy a new truck in the near future, I offer to you these photos, so that you will be able to readily identify the 3.5 EB (below) vs. the 3.7 engine (above). This is, of course, in the event you didn't notice the EcoBoost emblems on the sides of the vehicle--as well as, the engine type, which is listed near the top of the Monroney sticker on the window. You know, just trying to be helpful....

Okay everyone here is the new scoop. I called the sales manager this morning explained to him what was going on. Very professional and didn't hesitate to correct things. He told me that he wanted nothing more than for me to be 100% happy.

Here is what the dealership is doing...

First I returned the F150 3.7 this morning. They ordered another F150 echo boost and this one is loaded with backup cam, trailer breaks, leather seats, electric rear window and a few other things that were not in the original purchase. All for the same price.

The truck will be here tomorrow and I will update you guys then. Crossing my fingers that there are no issues. My car was traded in and gone now. They gave me a loaner till tomorrow. I also went with the 5 year 75,000 mile warranty as well. Wish me luck guys and thanks for suggesting to call the manager. I didn't truly think of that until it was recommended here on the F150 forum site.

But I am feeling guilty for not checking things out better. I just hope that it will tow a 1 ton tractor and trailer. I sure like the inside of the truck and the space. It has navigation with Sirius.

But I kept hearing the salesman talk to me about Ecoboost and assumed it had.
