Question Ford F-150 - OEM / Aftermarket Vinyl Options

Hello all!

As of September 2017, I am the proud owner of a white 2014 Ford F-150 FX4 (5.0L). My truck does not have the appearance package however, I was considering adding after market vinyl decals to the truck. I was thinking of adding vinyl to both sides along with a hood decal. I was wondering, has anyone done this with their F-150? If so, can you show me pictures?

Below is a picture of my truck and the potential options:

I like your option 1 Tremor-esque styling over the rocker stripes.

Thanks! Option 1 looks great and it seems like it is similar to stock. I am not looking to do anything crazy but I feel that I need to do something visually to break up the white.

PS - if anyone has suggestions on where I could pick up a cheaper hood decal, please let me know.

Not my cup of tea. But whatever you like will work. I would have removed my 4x4 decals by now if I wasn't so lazy.

Fair point - we all have different tastes. My only concern with Option 1 is that it may be "too much". The rocker panel one doesn't look as crazy.

Bump to the top! I am sure someone must have done something vinyl related to their truck!

I was in a tough spot due to the Arizona beige accents . I had two choices, paint over them or figure out a way to use them, but, cover them a bit and go with a 3 color scheme. Obviously I went with the latter, knowing I could always remove the vinyl and go with painting over the beige.

IMO. Those rocker stripes look super generic, can literally pick them up at any auto store. If you do like the placement of the rocker, maybe do an updated version what the earlier Harley's did, but with black and gray (or flat black). I see so many riced out cars and trucks with those exact rocker stripes on them around here (linked in op), might be why I have such a hate on for em'. lol.

Its your truck man, do whatever makes you happy.
