Have a 09 XLT 1/2ton ScrewCab "Texas Edition". On page 90 of the owner's guide it mentions the capability to display Instantaneous Fuel Economy. I have tried everything but taking it back to the dealer to find this setting. Mine goes directly from Avg MPG to "Press Reset.....". Has anyone found and used this feature

Are you hitting the info button or the setup button? i only get "Press Reset..." when i hit the setup button...

real time fuel economy is interesting... tho im pretty sure its going to get me in an accident...

I cant get it either in my XLT. I also read it in the manual but the option does not seem to actually exist.

I can't find it either in my XLT . I have a sneaking suspicion that this is a typo & that the instant FE is only on the Optional Msg Center like found in a Lariat (p101)

if im coasting the bar is all the way up... if im touching the gas, its all the way down

I get the IFE on my 09 XLT. It is on the odometer behind the steering wheel. Just push the stick-like button a few times and it goes through different things, average mileage, IFE, actual mileage, trip A & B.

I can't find the IFE either, when I cycle through the option, I see Trip A, Trip B, Average Mileage, Reset, and System. No Instance Fuel
