Default FORD ESP - Finally bought it!

Well, after about a week of researching Ford Extended Warranties,
I purchased one.

I was checking prices on about four sites. These are NOT third party warranties. These are actual FORD dealers selling the actual FORD ESP online.

Obviously, the dealer where you purchased your truck/car at tries to soak you with an outlandish price on an extended warranty.

I've learned alot. MY dealer was going to sell it for $1250, then admitted it cost him 1,075 . . . . BUT, later found the cheapest price of $665!!!!!
that is a HUGE difference!!

Get, this FORD (on the website) wanted $1,470!!!

Goes to show you the HUGE, tremendous markup on these things.

I settled on the 72 month / 75,000 miles PREMIUM CARE ESP.
That effectively fits my driving patterns and basically doubles my factory warranty. That's less than $200 a year for coverage. I'm happy!!

If you want to research one for yours, check here, they have the lowest rates....

Talk to Michael Case. he was very helpful!

I just pulled rates from Fordfactoryplans.com and yes they do have excellent rates. However, i purchased the 7 year 100,000 mile FORD warrant from this link -- www.Floodfordesp.com. I got the premium care which ended up being 1050.00 for the seven year 100,000 mile warranty which was by far the cheapest I found anywhere. Also for an extra 100.00 you can ad the same day car rental feature. It COMES with car rental if the dealership has to keep your vehicle over night, but with the 100 dollar feature, the minute you take your car to the dealership for warranty work -- you get a car. Not too bad.

In the 6 year plans . . . Did you move the DOTS over to the $200 deductible, or was that by default?

FLOODFORDESP.COM would have been my second chance. Mine was $25 cheaper at the other site.
PLUS, I received by contract via email..
both sites have very competive rates (alot better than the original selling dealer or the FORD factory site).

NEXT . . . . . I want to get quote on a PREMIUM MAINTENANCE PACKAGE.
Covers all scheduled maintenace up to 75,000 miles ( I think it said I could make 15 visits during the life of the plan). thing is . . . cheapest I've found is $900.

And that you were over 12,000 miles. That under 12,000 miles is some kind milestone or something?
