Doesn't look good in my opinion...I'm going for more black than chrome with a little silver mixed in:

Plasti-dip or buy a new one. Plasti-dip you can do right now for like $7.

Gahh I wish that would have happened on my black truck. Haha. I probably would have put tape on the letters and plastidip the rest. Then would be all black with chrome lettering

THAT would look awesome. I'm not sure how I'd tape the letters though. Any ideas? That would take some serious creativity...

Wow, I've never seen that happen before. And after seeing pictures of your truck, I can see why that look doesn't work for you. I agree with justice1736, it's not a bad look on the right truck. It would look right at home with my XLT Chrome Package.

lay a layer of tape over the emblem then with a lot of patience, a 12 pack, and an exacto blade slowly cut around the shape of the letter leaving tape only on the letters. Its tedious and a pain but will look awesome

Go to a good automotive paint store and get a roll of pin strippers tape. Use that to follow the letters and a good xacto knife to cut and clean the edge. Tape around the out side edge and spray away.

Probably this. But I said it backwards I had black truck I was going to do it opposite of what I said, lol. Black letters with chrome around it. But yea, the plastidip probably cheapest option, just take some patience.
