Man, that sucks. If car wash won't pay for new emblem, try the link below. It's for custom ford emblem overlay decals. Tons to choose from.... just no "Ford" logos I think. Only like $10 each.

I put them on my 2006. I got the "Tonka" one on a Ford blue oval. They go on really easy and look just like a whole new emblem. Almost everyone that saw mine thought I replaced the whole metal ford emblem with custom ones! I even got a tiny one that matched for the steering wheel.

that's awesome haha my emblem is starting to slowly chip away on the clear around the edge which is freaking annoying.. If I could get a replacement overlay from Moody I would replace that stupid thing already

Same thing happened to mine. I asked the dealer if they'd ever heard of it all coming off at once and they said nope. So I asked what a new one would cost and they're freaking $45! Luckily I'm still under warranty with just under 20,000, so they put one on for free. This one is actually a two piece emblem though. It looks the same until you get up close to it. Then you'll see that what used to be painted blue, is actually a piece of blue plastic inlay. So it should never fade now.

Mine is starting to look like crap as well. I am going to ask for it to be replaced under warranty as well, next month.

I recommend showing this to your dealer, Blackout2012, so they can advise on replacement. If you need my assistance, just send me your info in a PM. I'll need your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, mileage, and servicing dealer.

That would be great. I will PM you with my information. I'd rather it just get replaced instead of doing something aftermarket.

I saw one like this last week. Thought it was something the owner did. Umm, now I know.
