After the front end problems I lived with on my 2010 Platinum for 3 years it is happening again. I was asked by the dealer on my 2012 not to involve FMC this time and I trusted ( I am an Idiot sometimes) so when ever it is 80 degress + the front rack gets a shake in it the creates noise brought it in after six weeks and it was a 90 degree day they found it handed it over to ford and the response from FMC to Service Manager at first ford engineering was that it is a truck what do I expect so I kept on him looking for more info and after a year I handed all the Threads to Galpin Ford to forward I guess I was being snowed by Galpin and FMC. Because when I went to buy my next F150 I had one question? It was is the blue grease in the 2010 F150 any where in the steering and was told no by Brian the FMC tech and the Service Manager and guess what? Well you already know the answer to that I you read this forum.
My bitch is that I fallowed the rules of my dealership and when I need them there not helping and when FMC customer service got involved they set up a time for me to talk directly to a Engineer and I asked the question about the grease and he would not answer the question? He said I will have to back what the Field Engineer said not any answer from him directly so wouldn't you take that as a yes???

WHOA! Wait a second, you mean 2 different trucks and both are doing the same thing? That alone has to be one hell of a co-incidence!
You say what about the blue grease?

We could have used you on the battlefield man...enemy wouldn't have known what the hell is going on or what hit them! Blue grease slime!
Serious note: your 2010 had hydraulic steering, while your 2012 has electronic power assist steering (epas). See this sticky thread.

After the front end problems I lived with on my 2010 Platinum for 3 years it is happening again. I was asked by the dealer on my 2012 not to involve FMC this time and I trusted them ( I am an Idiot sometimes). Whenever it is 80+ degrees, the front rack gets a shake in it and then creates noise. I brought it in after six weeks and it was a 90 degree day, they found it (the noise) and handed it over to FMC. The response from FMC to Service Manager was "that it is a truck what do I expect" so I kept asking him looking for more info. After a year I handed all the forum threads to Galpin Ford to forward to FMC.
I guess I was being snowed by Galpin and FMC. Because when I went to buy my next F150 I had one question, "Is the blue grease in the 2010 F150 anywhere in the steering" I was told "no" by Brian the FMC tech and the Service Manager. Guess what? Well you already know the answer to that if you read this forum.

fixed I think
