LED is the future of lighting: high efficiency, low power consumption, great luminosity and relatively cheaper than HID (which is why you see it on the newest Audi & Lexus cars).
The way I see it, Ford is just that much farther ahead of the others in innovation.

I bet they do make it. While HID is new to the F150, it is not new technology and in fact is pretty expensive which is why you typically see them on high end vehicles or the highest trim of more basic vehicles.

Always takes me a while to "accept" new body styles. Part of me likes that, part of me doesn't.
I would for sure not be buying 1st model year, especially after what Ford did with introducing new engines in the middle of the 2009+ generation of trucks haha. I prolly won't be due for a new one until 2-3 years into the new body style, unless I need a major tax write off.

looks good, production version will surely be less space-shuttle-y, but my initial reaction was that it resembles a tundra...was this anybody else first reaction?

First thing anyone does when a new truck comes out is see what other truck it looks like. I'm sorry, but there's only so many ways you can distinguish trucks.

Me too. I think it's the shape of the tail lights and side mirrors. The wheel arches faintly resemble the tundras also.
