Default Fog Light mod?

Hey all,

I just bought a brand new 2012 F-150 Ecoboost 4x4 Super Crew last night. Love the truck so far but it has the typical fog light problem every other vehicle has. They go off if you switch the high beams on. I traded in a 2007 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 that I was able to do a fog light mod on it that enabled the fog lights to be on whenever I chose. Since this is my first Ford, I was curious if there is a mod that anyone has done to their trucks that enables them to do the same?
Thanks,
Jay

It's called the "bambi mod" you can do a search and alot of threads will come up about how to do it.

Okay, so not to be rude but I did a search and all I was able to find was people making threads asking the question as me but the only answers given were to search for bambi mod. I found how to do it on earlier models and posted in there thinking I was posting in the area for the latest models but then found afterwards, it was the last body style. Since I'm new to this forum can someone show me some threads from their search results that gives a step by step of what to do? Any help would be appreciated.

You might have to google it, saw a thread on here to talking about a plug and play thing to make you highs, lows, and fogs come on when you flip the high beam switch, but the search engine here is not so great, instead search on google and it will most likely give you links to a thread on this site

I googled and found this thread on this site, check it out, there is a link to a kit that makes all the lights come in high mode...

I would love to figure this out for the newer trucks. A while back I looked into this and all I could find was a mod for 2008 and earlier trucks.

Try a BriteBox. Put one on my 2010 xlt and it makes a big difference. A little pricey but it is plug and play.
