Floor mats

I will be purchasing new floor mats next week. What is your favorite? Need the rubber kind. Full Super Crew rear mat as well. Thanks.

You're opening up the floor (literally) to opinions. (Let me go first!) I don't know about anything but the weather-tech mats. You'll hear other opinions on other brands and I'm sure they are all good.

Just be sure you are clear on the difference between weather-tech mats and liners. The mats are a softer rubber, deep grooves, etc and look and work great if you're not doing a lot of dirty work and winter driving in the slush and snow. The liners are a harder material which some people don't care for. However, they are much deeper and generally have deep pockets near the door sills to collect water and junk.

Search the forum - you'll find lots of discussions on these.

I got the front and rear Aries 3D from real truck.com. Very happy with them (14 XLT screw)

I have WeatherTechs, I like how easy they are to remove and clean. The passenger side one is just strange, there aren't any hooks (in my truck at least, STX) for it to lock into, so they pretty much expect it a plastic screw to grab onto the carpet and not move. Kind of dumb. The first time I stepped on it with one foot on the mat and the other knee on the seat and leaned over the console to reach something in the back of the cab, the plastic screw snapped. It still works fine without it, doesn't move at all. Just a lazy design... Other than that small nit-picky drawback, I think they're great.

The OEM ones are good and high quality but not as much coverage as the weathertech digital fits, i currently own both and just bought the weathertech since i got sand on my carpet with the OEM rubber ones. They also prevent water from going over their edges.

The weathertechs coverage is amazing and if you install the hooks right they seem to grip well so far.

Ill probably be selling the OEM rubber mats soon for a supercrew

Weathertechs have been serving me great. Need one for the back floorboard of a SCAB and something to cover the rear bench. Dang dog is getting it muddy and hairy as hell
