Default Floor liners poor fit?

Hi, I bought a full set of Weather Tech floor liners for my 2014 Super crew cab. The front ones fit OK, but not real well as advertised. The large one piece rear floor liner slides around with no means to hold it. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

The rear doesn't get secured. But it's so large and fits around so many items that in general it stays in place. How long have you had them installed? I find it takes a few warm days for the creases and bends from shipping come out of the plastic and then it starts to conforms nicely.

Drivers side on mine is secured down by the stock attachment location. Passenger side does move around a little as there is no attachment but it only moves out towards the door ever so slightly.

I have the stock mat in the rear of the truck which is actually heavy duty enough for my needs.

I have the Weather Techs, front and rear. I don't have any issues with the rear because have a Du-Ha under the rear seat and is weighted done with ratchet straps and such.

I've got the 3D Maxpider floor mats and they don't budge an inch. The bottoms are completely covered with a material that closely resembles the hard side of Velcro but only softer. You could try a few strips of Velcro on the bottom to see how that works. I would try the soft side of Velcro first for fear of the hard side tearing up the carpet. I would think that even the soft side should create enough friction to keep from sliding.
