Has anyone ever tried one of these jack extenders?
Or know where to find them in a store??

Thank you all for the input. Looks like I'll need to make a trip to Harbor Freight.

I have never seen this on a floor jack. My father-in-law has sometihng similar on his lifts at this shop, but I've never seen it for a floor jack. I'd be a bit concerned about it, but I don't know that it would be much worse than jamming a 4x4 between the jack and the frame. Just looking at the customer ratings it doesn't look great at only 2.5 stars.

That's what I thought of the lifts in shops. But those negative reviews are mostly from the extender not fitting the hole. Might just look for a jack that lifts closer to 24" instead of the usual 20"

The pics make it look like it's of horrible quality.

https://www.kartek.com/parts/pro-eag...nt-points.html Is better looking to me and looks a lot more stable.

I've been using a harbor freight Pittsburgh 3 ton jack and stands. They always have coupons and sales and such, you can walk out with the jack and two stands for under $99 if you check their coupon flyers (that's what I did)

I would be worried about the additional torque this creates on a floor jack. The arms of an actual lift are much beefier and can't really move due to everything being locked in place. Those might cause the jack to twist and move when you don't want it too.
