im not recommending running e85 in an eco by any means, im just saying that it would run on it. Yes it takes about 20 percent more fuel but as much fuel as an eco sucks pulling 11,000 pounds im pretty sure it could handle the flow rate. I could be wrong, but i doubt it.

Okay....
Back to the OPs original point. Yes, I run it frequently. Yes, you get better performance via slightly higher horsepower, and torque. The big improvement comes from a flatter torque.
That said, my mileage drops from 17.2 mpg city to 14.6 mpg city running E 85. With E85 being 40 cents cheaper per gallon, it's roughly breakeven with the lower mileage. So it cost essentially nothing to get a more fun truck to drive.

Any thoughts on program tuning for E85?
Would I expect see the best results by tuning to the 93 octane option (with my SCT tuner) if I choose to run the E85?
