Default To flare or not to flare...

So, I ordered these EGR bolt-on look flares and havent had them shipped yet, along with 1.5" bora spacers. I'm having 2nd thoughts about the flares and am considering cancelling the order. wanted some opinions.

My truck is a 2013 FX4 white, in the summer I run 305/50r20 cooper LTZ's
In the winter I run 275/70r18 grabbers. I have a 2" AS level going on the front in spring.

I was thinking with the spacers, the wheels will stick out considerably and I need something to stop all that gravel from shooting up the side of my truck, could be flares or mud flaps.

I was thinking the flares unpainted, maybe plastidipped black would look good, something like this I guess:

What to do...

1. Go for the 1.5" spacers and EGR bolt on flares
2. Go for the 1.5" spacers and add some mudflaps (cancel flares)
3. Cancel spacers and flares, keep truck as-is

I love the look of my truck now and I'm always afraid of not liking it after I do mods like this, hard to know though without trying.

Heres another shot of the EGR flares.

Heres a pic of my truck with the summer 305's.

+1 for no flares. Unless you have an aftermarket front bumper that is wider it looks horrid in the front. So#2 I guess!

So maybe the 1.5" spacers and mudflaps... yeah I was thinking the flares might be a bit much too especially with no big lift.

I had roughly this same dilemma when I put slightly wider and more aggressive tires on my truck. Mud flaps was not an option for me just because I hate the look. I decided to keep my stock running boards on to keep the rocks from flying up instead of going with flares. I ended up getting a wider bumper and am rethinking the idea of getting some stock flares but am still undecided.

If you flare, find a Raptor Take off Bumper to make it look better, some heating and bending will be need to make the bumper look right

I got the same problem.with my bigger tires the sides of my truck gets filthy.i don't like the look of mud flaps.all the flares I see are sooo big I wish they made something in between stock flares and 6inch x 2in aftermarkets
