Default Fix for that effing cold-weather lower righthand windshield squeak 2004 on

All F150s from 2004 on suffer from a cold weather noise that from the driver's seat sounds like it is coming from the lower righthand windshield area. Sadly Ford dealers often fail to identify and fix this problem and for those of us who can hear the noise, the squeak is like fingernails on a chalkboard.

So you don't trade in your F150 and curse-out Ford 'til the day you die, I show you (and the wind and weather techs searching for a solution) how to fix the problem.

I say "ahhh" too much in the video but it was cold outside and with the sun setting, I didn't want to shoot another take.

Default Thank you Eric!

If I knew where to send you a case of beer or wine, I would send you one! Your post helped me eliminate that squeak that was driving me nuts, almost to the point of wanting to sell my 2010 f150. Ford should adopt your post and pay you a nice little fee.

Many thanks for the fix.

Umm, I'm so excited to try this that I'm scared to get my hopes up. Haha. I just bought a 2010 F150 and within the first couple of days I zoned in on the windshield squeak noise and its been driving me nuts ever since. I'm trying this tomorrow!

Just got done with this as I was hearing this annoying squeak during the recent cold snap. Now just waiting for it to turn cold again to see if I got it all.

Big thanks for the pics and video!!!
