Blower fan stuck on high??
Hey guys--I've got a bit of an annoying problem happening. The blower fan for the climate control is stuck on high. No matter if I press the button all the way to low, it still blows high. It gets annoying because of the noise, and the fact that it gets too damn hot! I cant get it to a comfortable level. Any tricks to combat this? Or am I doomed to visit the shop?? Thanks in advance!!

This may help...may not. Depending on what climate control you have
I'd you have a single zone, non auto, climate control you may be able to switch out the climate control.
I say that because i only have xp with the single zone no auto.
My wifes escape lost fan speeds 1,2, and 3 only worked on 4. I swapped out the climate control and boom, she had all 4 speeds again.
Idk if that would help you. As i know it won't fix the problem in all cases. If you have an STX with no mirror heat button, or ext temp readout, i have a climate control just lying around my house.
Otherwise if under warranty still? Dealer you go! Haha!

Your fan switch has died, you need to have it replaced. when the switch dies it defaults to high speed.
