Default First long road trip in the F150

Just got back from a 1000 mile round trip to dallas for the cowboys vs vikings games. I have a 2012 ecoscrew with 3.55 rearend. Truck did great averaged 20.3 doing between 60 and 75. Would have been better but the hills in texas killed it. In louisiana my average was 23 in the flat terrain but cant complain about 20 either. On the way home went through a good rain storm for about 2 hrs and never had the condensation problem. The best part is i think i converted my stepbrother over from dodge. He loved the ride and power. Just wanted to share my experience.

We love our F-150 for long road trips........you arrive so fresh and comfortable, not like you've been on the road for hours!
The only thing that could possibly be better is if the truck had massaging seats!

I'm about to take me a long trip and can't wait to drive through Louisiana. It's my understanding that ya'll actually offer ethanol free gas. I don't have an ecoboost so I get bad gas mileage no matter where I drive.

You can find it but it can be difficult to find in some areas. I normally dont get pure gas because theres no gas stations that carry it on my normal commute. Its normally just 10% ethanol. So it doesnt hurt to bad.
