I don't have airbags on my f150, but i do on my f250. The compressor is mounted under the hood. I have a compressor and tank on my f150 for my train horns and air supply. The tank is under the toolbox and the compressor is in the toolbox. For that kit i don't think you need a tank, which make it easier! As for the switch, anywhere you want. Does the kit come with a gauge? If your truck is a 2wd id put it where the coinholder in the dash is. You can also get a roush air vent gauge holder and put it in an air vent. Your choice... You could get fancy and put in a pillar mount and get a battery meter and another gauge.

I have the boost gauge in the vent pod setup already and my truck is 4x4, so i would have to use another vent or a gauge pod on the pillar

Could move the 12V plugin on the other side and put it there.

I have the ride rite setup, i just installed the compressor and dual needle gauge with double switch. I put the compressor on the transfer case skid plate in front of the gas tank, ran all my air lines and wires through the center console to my gauge and switches. All i needed was a cigarette lighter plug at the end to tie in my compressor and gauge to connect to the 12v power point in the center console wich lights up my gauge. When i dont need it i just unplug it. Everything is consealed and going to the power point, i dont need to go to the battery for power or to any illumination wire for the gauge light.

I will get pics shortly

Mounted my compressor on inside passenger side frame rail. Pretty much the only empty spot, roughly below rear passengers feet in screw. Wish I had mounted in front of radiator behind grill.
