Tom,

Thanks for your assistance. I have already written a letter to Firestone and received a phone call from the store manager. He informed me that the technician who performed the oil change, twice, was let go from his job. I wasn't wanting anything that extreme to happen, but I'm glad to see that the company is taking it seriously. The store manager also informed me that all I need to do is call him or stop in and I will get a full refund. I've been extremely busy with work the past few days and have been unable to call him back, should have time tomorrow.

Glad things worked out. In this day and age of the "interweb" A report of bad service can spread like wild fire. In my area the "Just Brakes" near my office shut down a few years back after multiple people including myself posted horrible service and bait and switch tactics. I even posted it at the the bulletin boards in our downtown office too. You can't trust BBB 100% either because the business owners can pay their way to improve their rating or remove bad reports.

I had some issues with Firestone last year, its a long story, but was quite the cluster ****.

I called their customer service line, received great customer service and the problem was resolved quickly and to my satisfaction.

I was very impressed with them. Even though I had a problem, I took my truck back this past month to get inspected there because of how they handled it.

Customer service goes a long way with me.
