Default Firestone Airbags

Can anyone recommend, the best place to get some Firestone airbags?
Also, I see that there are a few different types that Firestone makes.
Which type did you go with & why?

Any negatives with having them?

Thanks!!!

I've got the HD ones on my F250. Got them as a package deal when I bought the camper from our local RV dealer. Only negative I've seen so far is when the camper is off the truck, the ride is very harsh, must manually release air from the bags, then inflate them once loaded up. Ill eventually add an electric compressor and in-cab adjustability.

I have the HD bags in my F150. Great product only thing I want to change is adding an onboard compressor.

I've got the 5000lb bags. I believe they are called ride right or something. I purchased them along with the air ride compressor from autoanything.com. Both have been great products.

If you have a lift do you need a spacer or anything extra to make them work?

Depends on the lift. A normal rear block style lift will allow the use of these. Any kind of lift that changes the distance of the spring pack to the frame will make this useless. Also, the rough country lift has a rear block that's wider than the stock one and it will require trimming some "ears" off to get these to work, but it CAN be done.

I did a write up on my install.
I don't think I can post a link on the GT app that I'm on.
But I have a BDS 6" and as mentioned before, if you ONLY use a block in the rear & not an add a leaf or new rearched springs, that distance remains the same.
I absolutely love mine!!!!!
You can maybe use the search feature on here to see the write up & install that I did.
