Default Finished install and have 2 problems...

I just finished installing sync and 6cd Sirius head unit from 2010 F150 to 2010 F150. Everything is stock, I just needed to tap into a few CAN-BUS, Power, and Ground wires.
Problem 1-can't control the volume from **** or steering wheel.

Problem 2-nothing on the display and instrument cluster needles dance a little but never sweeps and comes on.

If you have any info. Please help.

2010 F150 XLT SCrew 4X4.
Had-single CD AM/FM

Installed- Sync module, Mirror w/mic, Steering wheel w/controls, and GPS unit.

Cant help with your problem but I was wondering where you went to find out all you need for this swap. I kind of want to do the same thing, minus GPS. I have an XL with the upgraded radio that has an audio input jack, but no USB. I just really want the USB like Sync has.

You are going to have to take your truck back to your dealer to have your truck re-flashed for the new radio. The days of just swaping head units is over... I have a friend that works at a assembly plant for Ford, thats how I found out..
