now every diesel on the road is far too noisy just to get the torque.
Jettas to Dmax, Mercedes to Powerstrokes, they have lost their appeal.

Be careful though. I had a fool in a convertible Miata with a giant wing and oversize can muffler revving and annoying everyone at the light. I stepped on it and he thought we were in a race. I just wanted to get away from the noise. He was irked when he couldn't keep up and kept going wide open after I leveled off at 50mph.
I was right, he was a fool. He was probably doing 70 when he realized the minvan in front off him was stopped at the next light. He thought I was next to him as he locked up his brakes, sending up a cloud of blue smoke from all 4 wheels. He then looked back to see I was way behind him as he swerved out of the way, then went screaming around the van and made a right turn through the red light.
There were plenty of witnesses that would have testified that we were drag racing. If he had hit that van, I would have been liable too.
Be careful out there.

HaHa. I could actually see that happening!
I've remote started the truck a couple times because the parking lights were on (showing the truck was running from remote start) but I didn't hear the truck turn over or running when infact it was.
Its amazing how quiet this truck really is.

Ecoboost too quiet because I know nothing about "new" technology / performance and judge a car/truck on how I can make it sound.
Louder = faster/better performance.
