I like that mount idea. I didn't really want to have the light bar mounted on my grille.

Butters, if my old brain serves me right, I saw a few examples of just that in my 135 page journey....I didn't really connect with the dually's on the bar, but the big bars looked good. I will be sure to post my pics when it all comes together.

There's a couple pics in the thread with dually's on the light bars, and some talk about putting SR's and E's on the light bars, but IIRC there weren't any actual pics of bars on bars.... (yes I know that sounds funny....)

I've been tossing around the idea for a long time of getting the Smittbilty bar and putting four Duallys on it, but my major gripe is that the tabs on the bar are on the outside! It just doesn't look right.

I wonder how the Westin bar is in comparison?

Their mounts are on the back but IIRC they mount to the tow hook location, So I think you lose your tow hooks...

Butters, My SmittyBilt will be here this week and I am ordering an E- series 30 " from FxCrazy...I am going to see if it works out and looks ok with the attachment points. If I don't like it I will send it back or maybe retro-fit it in our shop and powder coat it the way I want. More to follow.

Just checked out post #538 and it does look like a nice setup. Having no obstructions around the light bar will give you maximum light output.

Yea, that is what I was thinking...just need to secure it with a couple of Rattlesnakes to keep sticky fingers away from them!
