I also just wired them right up with no relay. Has worked great for just over a year. I did cut off the stock fog plug and used the RI plugs from the harness. I used solder and liquid tape.

X3

No relay.

They don't draw as much as the stock bulbs anyway, its harmless to the system.

I didn't cut the stock wires, in my book that a major no no.

I got a male 9145 plug (9006 works also) and it was PnP.

Do you have a picture of this plug? I've only ever spliced wires so this plug talk is foreign to me LOL.

If you look in the thread that was posted a page back, you will see the plug needed.

It's a 9006 and you should be able to get them at the auto store or online.

It's noting really special. Just normal plug in connector that rigid uses. Just cut factory wire replace the end with rigid connecter.

all i can recomend for anyone is to get all spots, most led bars throw enough to the sides to be funtional, and if you get some floods in there as well it lights up the fore ground to much, its fine for night crawling but for highway driving it kills your distance vision, this is what i currently run, 4 5" sirius spots, on an n-fab(smittybilt) bar

Have you ever used led bars? I have RI in spot and flood and I can tell you both are more than adequate at throwing light down the road.

Go look at some of the bars on this thread, they throw crazy lights that is a bonus of a bar, you get distance, sides and foreground all in one unit.
